How time flies! Life has been super busy and it has been a while since I have updated this blog. I just re-read the last blog I posted and a bit disappointed. I had high hopes that my daughter would be interested in gardening. Sadly, she isn't the gardening type. But she loves house plants! So maybe not a total failure. I recently harvested Purple Hull Peas from the garden. For those of you unfamiliar, Purple Hull Peas are from the cow pea family and are delicious. We were introduced to them in Mississippi where they are pretty much a staple. I tried to grow them in Maine with not much luck. They love the heat!
